We know how important it is to be able to retreat in a community of friends. That is why we have established a truly affordable fee structure. We endeavor to never turn anyone away for lack of financial resources. We can usually work out a payment plan, match scholarship funds or offer further assistance depending on your situation. We request that you file for a scholarship as far in advance as possible for the best chances of being accepted. You will be asked to perform a work trade while on retreat unless physically unable. If you wish to donate to the scholarship fund click the donate button:
If you cannot pay for your entire retreat at time of registration, you may request a payment plan. Before you contact us for a payment plan please draw one up. We would like to know how much you can pay, when, and for how long. Email your plan to firstname.lastname@example.org with the title “Payment Plan For (event)” or call (828) 356-5568. Anticipating attendance, you should select your retreat as far in advance as possible to try to pay it off before arrival. Under extreme circumstances, you may be allowed to pay over a longer period. We can usually work out a payment plan, match scholarship funds or offer further assistance in dire situations.
Choose the one that is right for you:
- Economic Scholarships: Based on income, scholarships for those with financial hardships.
- Longevity Scholarships: For those with serious medical issues that strain their financial resources.
- Vibrant Scholarships: Especially for Young Adults (26 and under) who wish to hear the Dharma.
- Monastic Scholarships: For Ordained Monastics
Scholarships depend on both the generosity and the effort of others. We don’t take the privilege lightly and ask that you only request one if you have no other means of finance. They cover room and meals only. Unless you are a monastic, dana should be offered to the teacher. Please consider this when considering your overall financial capacity. Also, unless you are physically unable, work-trades are required.
